We’d like to apologize for the few kinks in the new format and want to assure you that we are actively working to resolve them.
📅Travel Tryouts Update
Travel tryouts will begin the week of TBD. A separate email with information and the full tryout schedule will be sent shortly.
👕Super-Mini-Munchkin Program
Green tees will be distributed this weekend. Please aim to arrive 5 minutes early to your scheduled session for a smooth start.
⚽(Pre-Travel 1) Nursery & Pre-Kindergarten Program
For our 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM sessions, please follow these guidelines:
Starting Kindergarten in the Fall of 2027: Check in with Coach Whitaker.
Starting Kindergarten in the Fall of 2028: Check in with Coach Sam.
⚽⚽(Pre-Travel 2) Kindergarten and Above
Session Time Changes
(To help with a smoother transition, we are shifting our 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM sessions to start 5 minutes later: at 11:10 AM and 12:10 PM, respectively.)Session Breakdown
0-10 minutes: Foundational Ball Skills + Move of the Week
10-15 minutes: Team formation
15-60 minutes: 4 games of action-packed play!
Some of what trainers will focus on during games:
Midfield Build-out Line: For all goalie possessions and goal kicks. (This prepares players for U8, U9, & U10 travel teams, who also use a build-out line.)
Corner Kicks
Throw-ins: Proper technique encouraged (don’t worry, they don’t need to be perfect!)
Fouls: Will result in a restart, if necessary.
🧡Why These Changes Matter
We understand that every format has its pros and cons. However, these updates are designed to bring several major benefits:
Maximized playing time: No more sitting out for extended periods due to excess players.
A more relaxed, fun atmosphere: This allows players to grow and truly fall in love with the game.
Increased club camaraderie: Players now play with all of their classmates, fostering stronger community connections.
Simplified scheduling: With consistent start times each week, it’s easier for parents to plan.

*If you are in Pre-Travel Group 1 or Group 2 and are missing the uniform reversible jersey, black shorts, or black socks please see Sue at the field.
